My English teacher was doing a lecture about "romanticism" today. As an attempt to drill the message of this artistic movement into our heads, she put Caspar David Friedrich's "Wanderer above the Sea of Fog" on the big screen and played Coldplay's "Viva La Vida." It kind of gave off mixed emotions, leaving you unsure of what the exact mood of the painting is.
