Well, recently, i've been doing a lot of exploring in other genres of music. This past week I started discovering some of The Beatles material. While listening to their albums (15+), i found something special in their music and it taught me a valuable lesson. As people, we sometimes have a tendency to say, "oh, that's white peoples music", or "oh, that's black peoples music." And i know because i've done it. But in listening to The Beatles, i realized something i always felt...and it's that Music is universal and there is no divide. Of course there are different genres, but music isn't a color. It's for everyone and if you listen to a certain genre of music, or a song, and you feel it, then it's real to you..and that's what matters at the end of the day.
